From our Declaration of Independence:

Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shown that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.

According to Wikipedia, Despotism is:

a form of government by a single authority, either an individual or tightly knit group, which rules with absolute political power.

The exact names of all the members of the “tightly knit” oligarchy which presently rules America is up for discussion, but the group can be generally described as:  Congress with filibuster-proof majority in the same political party as the president…with all (even the opposition party) beholding to a banking and union elite who continually conspire to, and will stop at nothing to maintain power…
